Fantasy Trebuchet Project
Made for SPAWN!
Trebuchet Team - Evan Stead, Cerys Arrowsmith, Ola Ebbutt, Isabel Minnion Crags, Dominic Shah
Created for 'SPAWN!' the RWCMD puppetry show of 2023. During this four week project we in a group of five, designed, built and rendered a medieval fantasy style trebuchet which was functional. In the show, it was used to shoot fireballs at the audience. During this project I was primarily responsible for Polycarving the horns and rendering the mace. I also helped in woodgraining, and general rendering.

Photographer - Simon Gough
For this production, I worked as the scenic communicator as well as a scenic artist. My main artistic job during this project was painting the tent backcloth. Ruby wanted the tent to look like an old military style tent that had been worn down by the weather. I also sewed the panels of the backcloth together

For this production designed by Eleanor Rogers, I worked on painting the floor panels. The set was designed to resemble the burnt remains of a building. We built up the layers of blacks, greys and whites to achieve this burnt look.
